EYAI President Moses Lungu
The Evangelical Youth Alliance International (EYAI) has praised President Edgar Lungu for his commitment of preaching forgiveness in the country.
Alliance Executive Director Moses Lungu has told QFM news in an interview that is disheartening that some individuals are condemning the move by President Lungu to pardon musician Clifford Dimba.
Reverend Lungu says people should learn to forgive one another saying that is a key to the promotion of peace and unity in the country.
Reverend Lungu recalls that in the Bible Saul was busy killing Christians but Jesus Christ forgave him and made him an Ambassador of winning souls.
He says there is nothing wrong for President Lungu to pardon General Kanene and making him his Ambassador in the fight against child defilement saying it is required of him as a Christian to extend his heart and forgive people.
He has however noted that President Lungu cannot pardon all the inmates at the same time saying it is a gradual process.
