Poor state of feeder roads in Mumba still major concern- Chituwo

Mumbwa Central Member of Parliament Brian Chituwo says the poor state of feeder roads in his constituency remains a major concern.

Dr. Chituwo says this is as a result of the failure by the Rural Roads Unit (RRU) to work on the roads for a long time.

He has told Qfm News that worse still it is not even known whether there are plans by the RRU to work on the feeder roads.

Dr. Chituwo says in view of this uncertainty, Mumbwa district council has opted to procure a grader using Constituency Development Funds (CDF) to work on the roads.

He however states that the fact that a grader is only one of the components of the machinery needed for road rehabilitation, it is incumbent upon government to come in.
