ZDDM justify its support for President Lungu

The opposition Zambia Direct Democracy Movement (ZDDM) has disclosed that it supports President Edgar Lungu because he is what it sees without a mask.

The ZDDM says it however cannot force him to learn from it hence its decision to find its own path in national interest.

ZDDM president Edwin Sakala has told Qfm News in a statement that instead of campaigning for other people to realize his party’s vision of a united and focused Zambia, the ZDDM has at last decided to take what he has referred to as the Bull by the horn.

Mr. Sakala explains by taking the Bull by the horn, his party has presented itself as a vehicle and platform through which Zambians who really care about restoring the spirit of nationalism and patriotism can unite and work together to rebuild the country .

He states the ZDDM wants President Lungu and other opposition political party leaders to sit on one table and work together towards finding solutions to the crisis facing the people of Zambian.

Mr. Sakala says his party holds the view Zambia stands to benefit from such unity because no single political party or leader has a monopoly of wisdom.
