Political parties taking part in the August 6 Bangweulu parliamentary by-election, have been encouraged to sustain the same tranquility that was attained on the nomination day.
The Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) is interest in seeing a credible electoral process in the by-election.
FODEP Executive Director MacDonald Chipenzi has called on political parties to respect each other’s right to participate in by-election.
Mr. Chipenzi has told Qfm News in an interview that his organization is discouraging political parties from using intimidation and harassment to get their way in the poll.
He says FODEP is of the view that any power that is earned through intimidation and harassment is cosmetic.
