PF will leave a sad political legacy – Msoni

Opposition All People’s Congress (APC) president Nason Msoni says he foresees the Patriotic Front (PF) government leaving a sad political legacy once it vacates office.

Mr. Msoni says going by the manner the PF government has been running affairs of the country, its legacy will be defined as one of deficits in all areas.

He has told Qfm News that his party has taken note that besides recording budget overruns, the PF government has now allowed the country to start having deficits in power supply.

Mr. Msoni laments that the sad part about the power deficit is that it will go against what other previous government have been doing to preserve the country’s forests.

He says this is because the loading shedding being experienced in the country will now trigger a countrywide demand for charcoal.
