The University Teaching Hospital(UTH) says the oxygen plant at the hospital is operating well despite the continued load shedding.

UTH Managing Director Lackson Kasonka says there is no need for the public to worry how the hospital is managing to take care of patients who need to be on oxygen because all is in place

Dr. Kasonka points out that currently the hospital is using the new oxygen plant which is not connected to the piping and this has been helpful in the past few months even before the   power utility company (ZESCO) announced the time table for load shedding.

He has since assured the nation that the hospital is doing its best to ensure that all patients receive the medical attention at an appropriate time.
