President Lungu urged to open his doors to nationalist advice

President Edgar Lungu has been urged to open his doors to nationalist advice that is being rendered by opposition political parties.

President Lungu is being implored to keep in mind that some opposition political parties are aiming at serving the nation when they give him counsel.

Opposition Zambia Direct Democracy Movement (ZDDM) has also reminded President Lungu to be wary that the role of the opposition political parties in any society is not limited to opposing everything the ruling party do but to offer checks and balances while offering alternative policy direction when necessary.

ZDDM President Edwin Sakala says his party believes that in civilized politics the two sides complement each other as they are a key component in democratic governance.

He says his party therefore finds it God given a chance that it has been able to work very closely and at personal level with all previous national presidents and leaders of political parties.

Mr. Sakala has told Qfm News that this has also given the ZDDM chance to understand why Zambia rich as it is has sank deep in poverty and in what he has referred to as demonic politics.

He states that in the midst of abundant wealth the majority population is poverty stricken and suffering preoccupied with daily search for food and fault finding each other that they fail to realize that they walk on wealth.
