CCZ calls for unity in Zambia

The Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) has called on Zambians more especially leaders to bury their political and tribal differences and endeavor to unite Zambians as the country commemorates Heroes and Unity days.

CCZ President Bishop Alfred Kalembo has told QFM News via telephone that it is important that the country appreciates the sacrifices made by freedom fighters by promoting peace and unity.

Bishop Kalembo state that the country is enjoying political independence today because some people paid the price for it.

He says Zambians should know that there is only one Zambia and that they should work together in promoting the ‘One Zambia One Nation’ slogan.

He has since urged the people of Zambia to foster peace and unity as the country celebrates Heroes’ and Unity days.
