PF in Eastern Province ready for 2016 polls

A Patriotic Front Member in Eastern Province is confident that the ruling party will win the 2016 General Elections with a landslide in Eastern Province.

Kennedy Zulu has told QFM News via telephone that last week’s parliamentary polls should act as an indicator of what will happen next year.

Mr. Zulu says the opposition political parties should continue dreaming that they will win any of the seats in Eastern Province saying the ruling party is still popular in the province.

Mr. Zulu, who is former MMD Eastern Province Chairman, says the party is strong in the province and that the party is not panicking of winning next year’s general elections.

And Mr. Zulu has advised stakeholders alleging that the former Republican President Rupiah Banda was acquitted because he helped the PF win this year’s presidential by-elections to leave such matters to competent bodies.
