Tourism and Arts Minister Jean Kapata says the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Zambia and Kenya will no doubt boost the Zambia’s tourism sector.

Ms Kapata explains that the MoU will see Zambia and Kenya have cooperation in the tourism development, exchange of tourism information and collaborate with the private sector.

Ms Kapata states that the two countries will be advertizing their tourism sectors at the same time so that Zambia can benefit from Kenya’s tourism sector which she says is doing well.

She says tourists who will be going to Kenya will also be encouraged to visit tourism sites in Zambia saying it will be a plus for the nation.

She adds that the tourism sector in Kenya is far more advanced than that of Zambia and that Zambia is keen to learn from their achievements.
