Honorary Belgium Member of Parliament Denelly de Meyer has appealed to Zambian women to be courageous and denounce early marriages.
Ms. Meyer says Zambia has the potential to end child marriages before 2030.
And Ms. Meyer notes that the issue of child marriages is world over despite Zambia being among highest on the African continent.
She says in this regard all stakeholders have a huge responsibility to fight the vice by finding strategies that will create awareness on the dangers of child marriages.
The Parliamentary further suggests that all women have the responsibility to say no to marry off their children at a tender age.
She has since advised the media to take keen interest in reporting on child marriages.
