HH’s sincerity in evaluating President Lungu questioned

Patriotic Front Media and Publicity Committee Vice Chairperson Sunday Chanda says UPND President Hakainde Hichilema is not being sincere in his evaluation of President Edgar Lungu’s six months in office.

Mr. Chanda says while Mr. Hichilema claims things are becoming worse under the PF regime and that the six months of President Lungu has been a disaster, he must remember the worst pain, anguish and sense of disillusionment Zambians experienced under his executed Privatization Programme.

He notes that President Lungu owes his Presidency to Zambians from all backgrounds; including Mr. Hichilema himself, adding that he has so far made tremendous progress in developing the country.

Mr. Chanda further states that the PF will continue to deliver on its people-given mandate, including admitting challenges as and when they arise, while keeping the faith that the country will overcome and create a better life for the people and push back the frontiers of poverty.
