ZAYN Malik could be set to cut all ties with music manager Simon Cowell.

The former One Direction member is reportedly in talks to sign a new deal with 50 Cent in a bid to achieve his dreams of becoming a rapper.

Zayn has remained with Simon’s record label, Syco, since quitting the band in March this year.

But according to the Sunday Mirror, 50 Cent suggested to Zayn that working with X Factor boss Simon’s record label “lacks credibility”.

The rapper allegedly said: “Some pop star rappers are a bit cringe, and he doesn’t want that.”

Thirty-nine-year-old Curtis apparently told Zayn that the pair could make millions by working together to launch his solo career.

Zayn and Curtis have apparently arranged to meet in July to discuss the possible move.

OK! Online has contacted a spokesperson for Zayn for comment.
