The Zambia Center for Inter Party Dialogue (ZCID) has called on the ruling party and the opposition political parties to sober up regarding the constitution making process if the process is to progress well.

ZCID Executive Director Horrance Chilando has told QFM News via telephone that it is not new that the constitution making process has been a thorny issue saying all players should now sober up if the process is to progress well.

Mr. Chilando says the people have been failing to contribute to the constitution making process because of the way the ruling party and opposition have handled the process.

He says the ruling party and the opposition have taken it personal saying they should reach a consensus over the matter.

Mr. Chilando says the constitution making process is a national agenda which requires all players including the people to take part in it.
