Chipimo urges MPs to demand for Eurobond audit

The opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP) has called on Members of Parliament to rise as one and demand for a proper audit of the money the PF government has borrowed and see how it has been utilized.

NAREP President Elias Chipimo Junior tells QFM News that until an audit is done to ascertain how the two Eurobonds and other loans government got have been used, that is when the PF government can contemplate on borrowing more.

Mr. Chipimo says government should give a clear policy direction as to how the money has been utilized before they think of acquiring more loans.

He says government should also give a clear direction as to how the money will be paid back unlike just issuing statements of commitment of repaying without a proper plan.

Mr. Chipimo says it is for this reason that all MPs should get united before the country is put in serious economic challenges by the PF government.
