ZNWL calls on women to support each other

The Zambia National Women’s Lobby says women should be concerned that even the presidency has noticed that it is rare for women to support each other.

Chairperson Beauty Katebe says it has been taken as a notion that women do not want to support and empower each other, but that this has now become a problem.

Ms Katebe says if women can come together and support each other, meaningful and positive results can be recorded looking at the potential they possess.

She says no one will come and tell women to start supporting each other, but that it is up to them to begin empowering each other.

Ms Katebe says it is worrying that even Republican President Edgar Lungu has expressed concern that women rarely support.
