PRINCESS Charlotte might have stolen the limelight when her official pictures were released earlier this month.

But it was her brother George who made sure he was the centre of attention this weekend.

Clearly having enjoyed the fact that all eyes were on him on Saturday on the Buckingham Palace balcony, the adorable 23 month old couldn’t help but show off his mischievous side as he enjoyed a family day out at the Festival of Polo with his mum and dad yesterday.

The cherubic young royal warmed the hearts of thousands as he larked around on the green at the Beaufort Polo Club with his mother Kate, rolling around in the grass and playing with a number of toys. The mother and son duo looked a treat in matching blue outfits, with the Duchess of Cambridge showing off her slender figure – just six weeks after giving birth – in a blue and white striped top, from ME+EM, and skinny jeans.

Little George was having a ball as he had a go at the game himself with a couple of polo mallets – but seemed to misjudge the game and ended up kicking one of the balls instead.

Kate looked like a proud mother as she joined in on the action with her little one – running around after him and making sure the tot remained upright on the grassy verge.

She even tried to teach him how to kick a ball as she pretended to block him, leaving little George beaming with joy as he tried to get past his mummy.

Later on, William jumped on a horse and took part in the charity match as his adoring family looked on.
Beaufort Polo Club is a favourite of Princes William and Harry – who have battled it out against one another on the field countless times.

Maybe George will join in one day – looks like he’s going to be a natural.
