Power Dynamos have disclosed that would like to re-sign Zambia midfielder Lubambo Musonda.

Lubambo is currently clubless after suddenly leaving Armenian club Ulisses FC in March just mid-way through a twelve-month deal with the club he joined from Power last August.

The midfielder trained with Power early this week after completing his Zambia duty in last Saturday’s 2017 Africa Cup Group E qualifier at home against Guinea Bissau.

“Lubambo trained with us yesterday (Tuesday) but we don’t know his status as at now,” Power coach Tennant Chilumba said.

“We are waiting for word from his agent we will take it from there after we communicate with his agent.

“We want the boy to come back I am sure he is happy to be back at power. He was very happy when he trained with his colleagues.”

Lubambo played for Power for two seasons after joining them on a long-term loan deal at the start of the 2013 season from Division One South club K-Stars.

Meanwhile, Power midfielder Richard Kasonde has left the club to join their Kitwe archrivals Nkana.

“Nkana has written expressing interest in the player. We will start negotiations soon,” Power club secretary Ricky Mamfunda said.

Kasonde joined Power last season from demoted Kabwe Warriors and played a key role in their second place finish in the 2014 season after scoring 10 goals from midfield.
