NWCSR commends President Lungu

The Network for Wealth Creation Through Self Reliance (NWCSR) has commended government for the initiative to establish milling plants in districts across the country.

NWCSR President Kauta Mwale says the initiative whilst principally intended to reduce the cost of mealie meal, is modeled around inclusive business which entails that it enables job creation which is a fundamental tool for poverty reduction.

Mr Mwale says this is very encouraging and demonstrates government’s commitment to implement inclusive business policies as a means to reduce poverty.

He states that inclusive business leads to the creation of low income communities either directly or through corporation value chains.

Mr Mwale adds that sound inclusive business models can deliver higher socio economic value for communities, and presents an exciting opportunity for private–public partnerships.

He has since urged all well meaning Zambians to support the initiative by government.
