Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Davy Chikamata

Government says it has not relaxed Ebola preventive measures despite Liberia one of the worst hit countries being declared Ebola free by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Davy Chikamata says this considering that Liberia is the only country among those hit by the Ebola outbreak to have contained the virus.

Dr. Chikamata says it is for this reason that the Zambian government will not relax the Ebola preventive measures put in place.

Dr Chikamata says all boarder entries will continue to screen all new entrants into the country as a preventive measure.
