ZED pleased duo citizenship will be tabled in June

The opposition Zambians for Empowerment and Development (ZED) is pleased that the government intends to table duo citizenship as some of the non contentious issues in this month’s sitting of Parliament.

ZED president Frederick Mutesa says such a development is welcome as it is actually long over due.

Dr. Mutesa says his party is of the view that having such a provision in the country’s constitution will contribute to the growth of the capital base of the country’s economy as more Zambians in the Diaspora will feel secure to invest in the country.
