SACCORD urges strengthening capacity of local govt

The Southern African Center for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) has noted the need to improve the capacity of  the country’s local government as it implements the decentralization policy.

Executive Director Boniface Cheembe says his organization thinks that the local government should have adequate capacity to be in a position devolve all the functions at central government level to the lower level.

Mr. Cheembe says this is how SACCORD thinks that service delivery will be improved in the country.
