The Zambia Electoral Alliance (ZEA) says the peaceful campaigns being conducted in Malambo and Petauke Central constituencies have vindicated Zambia that it can still have peaceful elections.
The ZEA is pleased that so far no reports of violence and intolerance have been recorded from the two constituencies.
Spokesperson Guess Nyirenda says his Alliance is however concerned that there appear to be confusion in the campaigns for the Mulobezi Parliamentary by-election.
Mr. Nyirenda has told Qfm News that unless the police arrest the people that are said to have caused the confusion in which one political cadre was short the situation is likely to continue.
He says the reports that his Alliance is getting from the constituency is that people are concerned that the political cadre who was short is the one that has been arrested and not the alleged person that short him.
