Register under grades that suit you – Mukanga tips complaining contractors

Transport, Works, Supply and Communication Minister Yamfwa Mukanga has advised contractors complaining of high fees being charged by the National Council for Construction to register under grades that suit their financial muscle.

Mr. Mukanga has explained that the NCC has grades and charges registration fees depending on the class a contractor chooses.

He however, stated that government will look into the issue to see whether the fees being charged for specific grades are too high.

Mr. Mukanga has further encouraged contractors to register with the National Council for Construction stressing that it works to their advantage.

Some contractors have appealed to government to intervene in the high registration fees being charged by the National Construction Council.
