Chief Mumena of the Kaonde speaking people in Solwezi district has thanked President Edgar Lungu for thinking about the people of North western province by visiting them and commissioning a number of projects in the province.
Chief Mumena notes that this shows that the President wants to work with every Zambian and take development to all areas.
He says it is hoped that the Patriotic Front government will complete all the projects that have been initiated in the province especially that people are anxious to see development take place in their province.
The traditional leader adds that the PF government should go a step further by finding ways of reducing the high poverty levels not only in North western province but the country as a whole.
Chief Mumena further states that government under President Lungu should also ensure that the people of North western province benefit from the mines in the province.
