Stop misleading statements- United Front for Democracy tells govt

United Front for Democracy, a loose alliance of five political parties, has advised government to stop PF officials from issuing misleading statements on the constitution making process.

UDF Vice Chairperson, Nason Msoni, has told Qfm News in a walk-in interview that only Justice Minister Dr. Ngosa Simbyakula and the Republican President Edgar Lungu can issue comprehensive statements on the constitution making process.

Mr. Msoni says it is frustrating that some lower organs of the ruling party have taken it upon themselves to insult the process by issuing contradicting statements from that of government officials.

He says government will do well to warn such people to leave the process to legitimate organs and not frustrate the already frustrated people on the constitution making process.

Mr. Msoni, who is also All Peoples Congress (APC) President, says the UDF has decided to support government over the constitution making process because of the stance it has taken.
