FODEP expects MPs to put govt to task when Parley resumes sittings

The Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) says it expects parliamentarians to seek answers from government on a number of challenges facing the country as the house resumes its sitting on 16th June.

FODEP Executive Director MacDonald Chipenzi says Member of Parliament should use the opportunity to compel the executive to explain the continued fall of the kwacha, among other challenges facing the country.

Mr. Chipenzi says Zambia is a democratic country and people deserve answers on certain issues that are affecting them.

He adds that it also important for Parliament to question the executive why the Electoral Commission of Zambia had to postpone the voter registration exercise
