Mufalali speaks for the youths

Senanga Member of Parliament Likando Mufalali has appealed to government to seriously reflect on the challenges being faced by young people across the country.

Mr. Mufalali has told Qfm news in an interview that despite the government through the ministry of labour indicating that it has created more than 316,089 jobs since assuming power in 2011 more has to be done with regards youth unemployment.

Mr. Mufalali notes that the young people need to be in formal employment if high levels of poverty are to be reduced in Zambia.

Mr. Mufalali states that there is also need for government to come up with other strategies that will help create youth employment as this will help the majority youths to put food on the table for their families.

He has ecouraged government to seek advice from the relevant stakeholders on how best Youths can be empowered.
