UPND not in a hurry to replace Kapita

The United Party for National Development (UPND) says it is not in a hurry to replace its former vice president Richard Kapita who defected to the ruling PF recently.

UPND Deputy Secretary General Kuchunga Simusamba says the party has moved on and is in no hurry to replace Mr. Kapita.

He says with time the party national management committee will meet and advise on the way forward with regards the vacant position of vice president for administration.

Mr. Simusamba says the UPND is growing everyday and that the defection of one person has no impact in the smooth running of the political business of the party.
