Muntanga excited Kalomo will be gateway to Kafue National Park

United Party for National Development (UPND) Kalomo Member of Parliament Request Muntanga says he is excited that Kalomo will soon be an attractive gateway to the Kafue national park.

Mr. Muntanga says Kalomo has for the past fifty years lagged behind in development despite the town being a gateway to tourist destinations.

He explains that a number of developmental projects are now taking shape in the constituency including the tarring of township roads and construction of a district hospital which is estimated about twelve million kwacha.

Mr Muntanga says phase one of the hospital project has since reached and advanced stage with about fifty percent of the works already done.

He states that the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the year 2014 has helped a lot in advancing the rate of works in the area.

He adds that he is now looking forward to receiving the 2015 constituency development fund so that all the projects in the constituency can be completed.

Mr. Muntanga points out that he will continue to work hand in with the people of Kalomo in order to deliver the best.
