Tanzanian High Commissioner to Zambia Justa Nyange has urged Zambian women not to be left out in contributing to the country economic development.
Ms. Nyange says Zambian women should feel proud and encouraged to have one of them occupying the second highest office in the land in vice president Inonge Wina who has wholeheartedly shown total commitment to issues affecting women in the country.
She says this is an opportunity for women to speak out and dialogue with government so that their issues can be addressed with deserved attention.
Ms Nyange adds that she is also excited to note that President Edgar Lungu has shown keen interest in balancing his appointments by appointing more women to decision making positions.
She further states that Zambian women be it those in formal employment or doing business have the potential to drive the country’s economic development to greater heights.
