The Commuters Rights Association of Zambia (CRAZ) says it is not in support of the bus e-ticketing system.

CRAZ President Aaron Kamuti says bus operators have not failed to provide quality services to the passengers but it is the environment in which they are operating in.

Mr. Kamuti notes that if those infringing on commuters rights in the bus station, the e-ticketing would not be necessary citing that bus operators are willing to give best services to the passengers and make a conducive environment for the passengers.

He adds that the council together with the government should instead deal with the people and especially cadres being found in stations harassing passengers and making it look like it is the bus operators portraying such kind of behavior in the bus stations.

Mr. Kamuti further states that bus operators are willing to maintain sanity and order in the bus stations but the people running the stations are making it hard for them to do so.
