Every religion has right to worship – Mwila

Home Affairs Minister Davies Mwila says every religion in the country has the same right to worship like Christians do.

Commenting on the recent suggestion by Munali Constituency aspiring Member of Parliament Patrick Mungo that government should to pass a law that will restrict the construction of Mosques in the country, Mr. Mwila says Zambia will always remain a Christian nation but will also allow other religions to worship freely.

Mr Mwila has told QFM News that Zambians should always live in harmony with each other regardless of despite differences in religion, tribe or race.

He points out that at the end of the day, all people regardless of their religion should work towards contributing to a better Zambia.

Mr. Mwila says what is important is for people to understand, accept and respect each other regardless of their religion.

The Home Affairs Minister has further urged Zambians to unite in moving the nation forward.
