UPND Livingstone District Spokesperson Nato Halwabala has called on party members in Southern Province not to allow the defection of party vice president Richard Kapita to the ruling PF affect their morale.
Mr Halwabala says the UPND is an institution that cannot be destabilized by the departure of one individual.
Mr. Halwabala has told Qfm News from Livingstone that much as Mr. Kapita has been with the party for a long time, he was just like any other member of the UPND.
He says this is why his departure has been taken as one way of restructuring.
