The Zambian Voice says it has lost all the high hopes it had in seeing Justice prevail in the tribunal investigating suspended Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Mutembo Nchito.

Executive Director Chilufya Tayali says his organization which initially believed the tribunal was progressing well in its proceedings is now disappointed.

Mr. Tayali has told Qfm News in an interview that this is in particular to the ruling of the tribunal on the three preliminary issues which Mr. Nchito had earlier raised.

He says dismissing the preliminary issue in which Mr. Nchito sought the recusal of tribunal members former Chief Justices Mathew Ngulube and Ernest Sakala as well as the ruling that the proceedings of the tribunal be heard in-camera has already shown the direction the tribunal is headed.

Mr Tayali says his organization does not think the Tribunal’s ruling protects the integrity of the country’s Justice System in anyway.

He says this is because the history that Justices Ngulube and Sakala, and Mr. Nchito have is already known.

Mr. Tayali further states that this is besides the allegations Mr. Nchito is facing equally being in public domain.
