MMD slowly dying – Mtonga

Former Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) Lusaka province Chairman Watson Mtonga says though it is a clear that the popularity of the former ruling party is slowly dwindling, there is still hope that one day a true and hardworking leader will bring life to the party.

Mr. Mtonga says it clear that some selfish members of the MMD have continued to find ways to frustrate the efforts being made by bonafide members who are ready to sacrifice for the party.

He says true members of the MMD will not allow the party to die but will ensure the once vibrant party is revived.

Mr Mtonga has accused party President Never Mumba of failing to take the party to greater heights.

He says the majority of the members especially youths are disappointed that Dr Mumba has refused to dialogue with the other faction in the party.
