President Lungu advised to open new page

Bweengwa MP Highvie Hamududu

Bweengwa UPND Member of Parliament Highvie Hamududu has advised President Edgar Lungu to open a new page in his governance system and begin engaging the opposition.

Mr. Hamududu says President Lungu as Head of State should be bold and see to it that the opposition and the government begin to engage each other on national matters.

Mr. Hamududu states that the kind of governance strategy adopted by President Lungu will not work to benefit of the nation.

He says President Lungu should be seen to be engaging the opposition political parties on governance issues and not to wait for the opposition to do so.

Mr Hamududu has told Journalists in Lusaka today that if President Lungu wants to work with the opposition UPND, he should engage the party President Hakainde Hichilema instead of using other means.
