PF reminded about Windfall tax

The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) has been reminded to always keep in mind that it campaigned on the basis that it will introduce Windfall taxes for Mining sector.

Former Church of God overseer John Mambo says the question that the ruling PF should BE answering is whether the people of Zambia are happy that this has not been done.

Bishop Mambo has wondered how people in the country can be happy when government has to the very least reduced the Mineral Royal Taxes.

He says the PF government should be concerned that it has denied people of the money that should have been channeled to easy the high poverty levels in the country as well as built the much needed health institutions and township roads.
