North Western province elders hail Lungu

The North Western Development Council of Elders has hailed President Edgar Lungu for making major pronouncements on developmental projects such as the construction of Solwezi-Chingola road, Jimbe road and township roads during his recent visit to the province.

Council of Elders Chairperson Lucas Chikoti has told QFM correspondent Lyton Ngambo in an interview in Solwezi today that the Solwezi-Chingola road if worked on will boost the economy of the country as it contributes more to the national treasury.

Meanwhile Mr. Chikoit has appealed to the president to declare Mushindamo, Mumbeji and Kankolonkolo as districts.

He states that certain areas are too big to receive infrastructure developments such as roads, hospital, schools among others.
