Opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President George Mpombo has called on government to look into the issue of the bad state of the Chiwala ring road that leads to Ndola’s industrial area.
Dr. Mpombo is concerned that the road that has been damaged by heavy duty tricks is posing a great risk to pedestrians.
He has disclosed to Qfm News that despite the road being dusty heavy duty trucks that are being used to transport lime to Neelkath Lime Company, Handyman’s Lime Company and Dangote Cement are being driven at break neck speed.
Dr. Mpombo states the Chiwala ring road has become a challenged that needs government’s serious attention because traffic rules are not being followed on this road.
