ECZ urged to learn from Namibia’s electoral body

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has been advised to come up with a mechanism that will start allowing citizens to cast their vote from areas other than were they were registered as voters.

Aspiring Member of Parliament for Munali constituency Patrick Mungo thinks that this is one way voter apathy in the country can be eased.

Mr. Mungo has advised the ECZ emulate how the electoral body of Namibia has decentralized its operations to enable people of that country’s exercise their right to vote conveniently.
