AVAP happy with June polls’ campaigns

The Anti-Voter Apathy Project (AVAP) has expressed happiness by the continued peace and orderliness that campaigns for next month’s Parliamentary by-elections have continued to be conducted.

Executive Director Richwell Mulwani has disclosed to Qfm News that the reports his organization is getting from Malambo, Mulobezi and Petauke Central constituencies are suggesting a positive sign.

Mr. Mulwani however notes that people of Petauke Central constituency are still questioning why the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) has adopted the former area Member of Parliament Dora Siliya to be its candidate when her previous election were nullified by the Court of law on grounds of malpractices.

He says his organization is of the view that it is up to the ruling PF to access itself as what the people of Petauke Central constituency are question is its fight against corruption in the country.
