The ruling Patriotic Front in Eastern Province is confident of scooping the Malambo and Petauke Central seats in the forth coming parliamentary by-elections scheduled for June 30th 2015.
PF Member Kennedy Zulu says the opposition is aware that Eastern province is the bedroom for the ruling party and a no go area for them.
Mr. Zulu states that the ruling party has done a lot in terms of development projects in the province and that the people are happy with the PF.
Mr. Zulu, who is former MMD Eastern Province Chairman, has told QFM News that people are also happy with President Lungu’s leadership qualities the reason why the party is growing at a rapid speed.
And Mr. Zulu says the opposition are day dreaming to suggest that the PF is having sleepless nights ahead of the 2016 general elections.
Meanwhile, PF Media Committee Vice Chairperson Sunday Chanda says former Justice Minister Sebastian Zulu should be the last person to criticize President Lungu’s governance.
Mr. Chanda says President Lungu is not afraid of the 2016 general election as claimed by Mr. Zulu because he will still win the elections.
