Beston Chambeshi is positive Nkana will maintain their 100 percent home run against Zanaco and end the leaders’ unbeaten record this season.

Nkana host Zanaco at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe on Saturday seeking their third straight league home win over the current Faz Super League leaders stretching back to the 2013 season.

Chambeshi said his charges are fired-up by their current five-game unbeaten run this season from which they hope to pick up their third straight win.

“It is a big match and Zanaco are on top. They are playing well and all that we need to do is prepare well and maybe get three points from them,” Chambeshi said.

Chambeshi, however, said he was not taking Zanaco for granted who have found a fresh lease of life under new coach Mumamba Numba as they mount their strongest start to a season since 2012 when they last beat Nkana in Kitwe en route to winning the title.

“It will be a different ball game and we will see how we handle them,” Chambeshi said.

Nkana are fifth and five points behind Zanaco on 12 and 17 points from eight and seven games played respectively.

Meanwhile, Nkana have one injury concern ahead of the game with defender and captain Donashano Malama a major doubt while midfielder Claude Bwalya is back after a four-week lay-off.
