Mungo tips ECZ

Aspiring Munali Constituency Member of Parliament Patrick Mungo

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has been called upon to work out modalities which will allow registered voters to vote from anywhere in the country.

Aspiring Munali Constituency Member of Parliament Patrick Mungo believes this is one way of addressing voter apathy.

Mr. Mungo says such a system will allow people who have moved from places where they registered from to vote anywhere.

Mr. Mungo has told QFM News in an interview that the country in the past elections has witnessed an increase in voter apathy due to the fact that some people have moved from places where they registered from.

Meanwhile Mr. Mungo has called on political party leaders to tame their cadres to allow the councils to operate freely.

He says the incident at City Market in Lusaka today where some cadres went on rampage destroying property because the Lusaka City Council will start managing the market is uncalled for.
