Mr Ngoma says he has no doubt that the media will even go a step further in making children’s stories a top priority in their news content.

He adds that the media should always bear in mind that the world is besieged with so many challenges which should be highlighted.

Mr Ngoma adds that Zambia like most sub-Saharan countries is dogged with a number of adversities ranging from hunger, poverty, diseases and conflicts all of which affect close two thirds of the population mostly women and children.

Mr. Ngoma has since appealed to the media to help children feel recognized regardless of their status in society.
