The opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) has observed that the failure by government to provide a clear roadmap on the constitution making process is causing agitation amongst stakeholders.

UPND Deputy Spokesperson Edwin Lifwekelo says government is not certain on which way to go concerning the constitution making process.

Mr. Lifwekelo says this is the more reason the party intends to hold national wide demonstration across the country to show the government that the people are not happy with them.

He says the party is making necessary arrangements with the Zambia Police Service to ensure that they get the permission to hold national wide demonstration.

He says his party believes in the rule of law and that is why they want to follow the right procedure to hold demonstrations.

Mr. Lifwekelo has told QFM News that it is painful that so much money has been spent over the process and it would be more painful if the process is abandoned along the way.
