PF asks Chanda to respect President Lungu

The ruling Patriotic Front has urged Fourth Revolution President Erick Chanda to respect President Lungu saying he is a Republican President.

PF Media Committee Vice Chairperson Sunday Chanda says Mr. Chanda has gone on rampage issuing disparaging remarks against President Lungu at the instructions of his paymasters.

Mr. Chanda has accused the Fourth Revolution President of serving the interests of Rainbow Party President Wynter Kabimba and UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema.

He has reminded Mr. Chanda that while it might not matter to him, President Lungu is Republican President and society shall not allow him to shamelessly continue pouring scorn on the Head of State.

He says his remarks are careless and highly provocative and if there is no one to tame him, the people of Zambia who gave President Lungu the mandate to rule will do so and he must not cry foul.

Mr. Chanda says those against President Lungu are busy planning to bring him down and that they want to see him fail.
