Lungu’s 100 days in office total failure – Simusamba

The opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) Deputy Secretary General Kuchunga Simusamba has described President Edgar Lungu’s 100 days in office as a total failure.

Mr. Simusamba charges that President Lungu has no clear direction of where he is taking the country.

Mr. Simusamba explains that it is clear that President Lungu has failed to give guidance on serious policy issues and address the challenges being faced by many Zambians.

He stresses that the UPND will make it up to the Zambian people come 2016 because the party is growing at a faster rate.

And Mr. Simusamba says the UPND will effect citizens arrest on District Commissioners that will be found campaigning for the Patriotic Front.

Mr. Simusamba told a media briefing this morning that the UPND is aware that the appointment of the District Commissioners is a campaign strategy.

Mr. Simusamba says the strategy to arrest the District Commissioners will remain a secret to the party.

The UPND Chief Executive Officer has also expressed confidence the party will perform excellently in the forthcoming parliamentary by election in Petauke central, Mulobezi and Malambo constituencies.
