MTN aids ZP Lusaka Division with furniture

MTN Zambia has come to the aid of the Zambia Police Service Lusaka Division by donating office furniture worth K28, 000.

Speaking when he handed over the office furniture to Home Affairs Deputy Minister Colonel Panji Kaunda this morning, MTN Zambia Chief Marketing Officer Clement Asante said the donation was motivated by the passion demonstrated by Home Affairs Minister Davies Mwila and the police command during the tour of police stations in Lusaka.

Mr Asante said MTN Zambia was inspired to note that the minister and the police command are determined to enhance service delivery by the Zambia Police.

He noted that during the Minister’s tour of Police stations one of the challenges he highlighted was insufficient furniture to cater for both the public and the police officers.

Mr Asant said MTN Zambia felt it is imperative to complement these efforts by donating furniture, and hoped the donation will add value to the police service.

And Mr Asante has called for public support to the Zambia Police Service.

Mr. Asante said the public must support the Police as it is the only way they can provide quality services.

The office furniture donated comprises chairs, drawers, tables, filing trays, cabinet tables and a boardroom table.
